Dr. Bjork received his undergraduate degree in Vision Science from Ferris State University. He earned his Doctoral degree from the Michigan College of Optometry, where he graduated first in his class. He then elected to complete an additional year of Residency training in Ocular Disease at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Bjork joined Middletown Eye Care and continued to work at the Cincinnati Eye Institute in the Retina Clinic for fifteen years. “I am thankful to have had the opportunity to gain the clinical skill and knowledge to manage patients with complex retinal problems. There are many systemic medical problems that can manifest in the retina which is why it is the most interesting and complex part of the eye. That’s also why it has always been my passion.” Dr. Bjork is certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. He also holds clinical privileges at Atrium Medical Center. He has achieved Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.
